Principal Proposal Engineer

The Proposal Engineer works with our project teams to lead the technical aspects of proposals in response to our customers’ power generation needs.

Essential Responsibilities:

As a Proposal Engineer you will:

1. Lead technical proposal development, which includes developing the proposal scope and reviewing the project specifications to ensure compliance with customers’ requirements.
2. Maintain the technical documentation and data sheets to support proposed work.
3. Support site walk-downs, inspections, and pre-bid meetings.
4. Solicit and review technical input and quotations from internal departments as well as external suppliers.
5. Responsible for maintaining and developing the project’s financial estimate.
6. Participate in bid reviews by presenting technical strategy and details.

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

To be considered:

1. B.S. in Engineering
2. 3-5 years field experience in power generation equipment or power generation construction preferred.
3. Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
