Job Title: Hybrid Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Washington, D.C. (Hybrid)
Salary: $185,000 - $220,000 + bonus
The Job:
Our client is is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with an active TS/SCI FSP clearance to join their team and help deploy and maintain their customer premise environments. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience as a DevOps or platform engineer within a technology company that services the government space.
The must-haves:
• Active TS/SCI FSP clearance.
• Experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
• Sufficient understanding of database technology such as Postgres, Cassandra, Elasticsearch and Memgraph.
• The ability to program in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, Go.
• Exposure to classified clouds such as c2s and azure and other hosting environments such as VMware.
• A good understanding of security concepts in large government agencies, and the ability to work with security teams to achieve desired security controls.
• Strong debugging skills.
