Fruth Group is currently searching for a Systems Engineer – MSP to join our dynamic team in our Phoenix office. As a security-focused managed service provider (MSP), we're seeking a talented individual to join our IT division. If you're passionate about ensuring secure system implementations and are proficient in Entra ID, ADDS, Microsoft Intune, and Azure security policies, then this is the perfect role for you.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in both Entra ID and ADDS, with a major focus on Microsoft Intune and Azure security policies. This position is located on-site at our Phoenix office and data center locations, with occasional travel required.
Essential Job Duties
- Design, implement, and administer high availability Microsoft clustering for both corporate and customer hosting environments, including BCP failover to georedundant data centers
- Assist senior management with resource planning, license management, replacement cycle management, and disaster recovery planning
- Design and implement EntraID/AzureAD solutions for customers with an emphasis on hybrid deployments
- Install, manage, and maintain SQL Servers for corporate databases and customer applications
- Act as an escalation point for tier 3 technicians working on customer issues
- Pre-sales engineering will be required for customer solutions
Education and Experience
- An associate's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience is required
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on technical experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting on-premises and hybrid Windows server environments
- Datacenter experience with High Availability Hyper-V Clustering, iSCSI SAN operation
- Experience with EntraID, SharePoint migrations, Exchange Online, and Defender for 365
- Certifications: Microsoft AZ-800 is highly desired
Supervisory experience is a plus
- Other certifications will also be considered by the hiring manager according to job relevance; a combination of certifications and experience may be considered in place of direct experience at the discretion of the hiring manager
