We are looking for a Sr. QA Automation Engineer - Bixby who will be responsible for expertise in AI, large scale data analysis, statistical analysis, deep learning, computer vision, robotics, and language understanding to join us. You will work with a team of research scientists and engineers tackling real-world problems involving Artificial Intelligence initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers and publish at top-tier conferences in data mining, deep learning, computer vision, robotics, and language understanding.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement and maintain test automation suites for Bixby voice assistant on multiple devices.
  • You will be responsible for testing devices on different operating systems along with testing services and background products.
  • Create test plans and test cases driven by requirements/specifications.
  • Participate in sprint planning activities, daily stand-ups; help ensure comprehensive test coverage by working closely with the product and engineering teams to prioritize testing execution and report on test execution progress and results.
  • Assist release engineering in managing releases.
  • Replace manual test suites with test automation when possible.
  • Work with partner teams to assure smooth project execution.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years of working experience in software quality assurance is preferred.
  • Must have experience with SW testing techniques and approaches; Ownership of test plan development and execution for customer-facing applications.
  • Candidates with coding and API testing will be preferred.
  • Experience in App testing on mobile phone/tablet/PCs etc. is preferred.
  • Experience with Voice Assistants preferred.

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Should have good knowledge with generic SQA tools is required (example: JIRA, Wiki, Git, Selenium, TestNG, etc.).
  • Sound knowledge of CI-CD tools like Jenkins is expected.
  • Should have good verbal communication skills.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time-sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
