This role is more than just coding. As a full stack big data software engineer at Booz Allen, you'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You'll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You'll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have:

• Experience using Linux CLI
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting
• Experience developing Java applications in a Linux environment
• Experience demonstrating Big Data processing
• Experience with Web development, HTTP, and REST services
• Experience managing and testing new models for data processing and data flow patterns
• Knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker
• Knowledge of distributed compute technologies such as Spark or Hadoop
• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
• Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with NoSQL technologies, including Elasticsearch and Accumulo
• Experience with signal processing
• Experience with data flow management and orchestration tools such as NiFi or Airflow
• Experience with machine learning packages and pipelines
• Experience with CI/CD principles, concepts, best practices, and tools, including Jenkins and GitLab CI

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
