Position Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer II (Jr-Mid) may monitor, optimize, develop, implement, deploy, test, and maintain system software and operating systems (e.g. Linux/Windows). The individual is expected to support on-prem and cloud hosting and environment(s) for production and DevSecOps systems, processes and software with the assistance of senior coworkers.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science (CS), Information Systems (IS), or other related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in System Administration, SRE, DevOps, or a similar role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language(Python, Go, Java, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Splunk, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Solid grasp of Linux Command Line (CLI) and package management tools (e.g., yum, apt, dnf)
• Cursory understanding of relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g. Oracle, DB, MySQL, MongoDB, CouchDB)
• Cursory ability to automate and reduce manual processing tasks
• Previous experience working in a cloud environment (.g. AWS, Google, Azure)
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet as well as maintain eligibility requirements for a DoD security clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship (required per government contract).
