Compensation Range: $60-70/hr W2

Job Description:

The client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join their Infrastructure and Supply Chain Finance team. This role involves building data infrastructure to support analytical and operational finance requirements, enhancing data access for critical business decisions. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about data and analytics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a platform for secure access to large datasets.
• Build and optimize data pipelines from internal/external ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP).
• Develop and maintain metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses to inform business decisions.
• Improve reporting and analysis processes through automation and simplification.
• Recognize and adopt best practices in data integrity and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics technologies.

Must-Haves

• Experience: 7+ years in data engineering or related fields.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS technologies (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda).
• Knowledge of ETL pipeline development.
• Familiarity with non-relational databases.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Coupa modules and backend mechanisms.
• Experience with SFTP, EDI, and transportation/freight data.
• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, Spark).
