Job Requirements / Description

Wanted: Experienced PCB DESIGNER/OTHER! Looking for an opportunity to flex your knowledge, learn new tricks, and go home feeling like you’ve made a difference? Arnold Magnetics Corporation (AMC) designs and builds ruggedized power supplies for the defense, aerospace, and energy sectors. That’s right: we power the equipment that keeps us all safe, gets you to grandma’s house, and lights up the room at night. We need YOUR help both designing unique solutions and keeping existing product moving forward!

*** Note: you must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident ***

Attributes: positive attitude, strong PCB design experience using Altium , hard worker, able to think beyond the technical solution, exceptional English skills both verbal and written (if you also speak Spanish, that’s great!)

Location: on-site at our headquarters in Camarillo, CA (841 Avenida Acaso)

What you’ll be doing:

You are especially unique. About 60% of the time you’ll be designing/modifying PCBs in Altium, working with our in-house engineers and production leaders to create something awesome. What about the other 40%? Well, that’s where things get interesting. What unique skills, experience, or interests do you bring to the table? We would love to have someone with qualification testing experience (or strong interest!) to help the existing team both execute tests and write test procedures. We would love to have someone with excellent hands-on soldering and electronics troubleshooting skills to help engineers with new designs and Production with product deliverables. We would love to have someone with Project Management experience help generate and maintain Gantt charts in MS Project and support keeping track of/coordinating material orders, outside processing, build, testing, and reporting. We would love to have someone with a background (or strong interest!) in document control, who understands the critical aspect of revisions and redlines and appropriate approvals and pushing drawings through the cycle even when everyone is super busy and distracted with other things. What else?

The best part about this job is that you’ll be part of actually producing something. Not much is made in the USA anymore, so this is a unique opportunity. So, what are you waiting for? Send us an email or give us a call. We’re waiting for you and excited to have you join the team!
