Design Engineer

LHH has partnered with a long time client in search of a Design Engineer. This is a fully onsite role with an amazing team of passionate engineers. This person will have attention to detail and the full scope of design experience. Someone with a strong passion for engineering is desired.

What you will do:

• Design new engineering products and processes.
• Craft models and drawings of products using CAD.
• Analyze prototype data and retest if needed.
• Research new product ideas and methods as well as improving existing products/processes.
• Ensure compliance with the industry’s safety standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Find creative design solutions to problems.
• Present prototypes and designs to customers and project managers.
• Execute strategic goals for the company.
• Collaborate with Engineers, Technicians, Mechanics Sales personnel and customers to ensure that drawings, manuals, and manufacturing instructions meet the highest quality standards.

What you need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience.
• Experience working with SolidWorks or Inventor.
• Experience in complex model FEA.
• Bring experience from a similar industry including automotive, aerospace or industrial manufacturing, and / or other highly regulated industry.
• Experience communicating with various teams regarding engineering projects/product/goals.
• High attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
