Process Engineer

Company Overview:

We are an authorized FAA Commercial and Military Aircraft Engine Component Repair Station.

POSITION: Process Engineer

DEPARTMENT: Engineering

CLASSIFICATION: Salary

REPORTS TO: Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage FAA/EASA/CAAC capability listings.
• Provide process documentation and operating instructions for the shop floor.
• Create and update Master Routers in the MRO system.
• Update engine manuals.
• Facilitate technical communications with suppliers and customers.
• Develop processes for integrating new components into the system.
• Design tooling and fixtures for new components.
• Generate rework processes for parts requiring recycling.
• Develop, configure, and optimize shop floor processes.
• Assess processes, conduct measurements, and interpret data.
• Design, implement, and upgrade systems and processes.
• Create and update CMM programs.
• Establish best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance production rates and output quality.
• Manage cost and time constraints effectively.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in process engineering.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of process-related standards.
• Experience in process development.
• Proficient in process engineering software packages.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
