The Marketing, Technology, and Measurement (MTM) organization is seeking a talented Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our Privacy and Identity Experiences team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions that ensure user privacy while building new experiences that use customers' identity to deliver more personalized, secure, and connected experiences. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will own products and features across the entire stack, from frontend, to API, to backend.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Building both internal and customer-facing applications, tools, and platforms that streamline and scale the AWS Marketing tech stack.
  2. Participating in all stages of the development life-cycle, spanning design, development, testing, and operation.
  3. Iterating on product features based on user feedback.
  4. Building and operating entire applications end-to-end, across UI, API, Database, and Infrastructure.
  5. Participating in design and security reviews for team members to help improve the quality of all our services.
  6. Generating new ideas for improving operational capabilities for the AWS Marketing tech team.
  7. Modernizing existing tech stacks and solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  2. 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
  3. Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  2. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
