I&E Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. The I&E Reliability Engineer will assist the site I&E maintenance team as an engineering resource.
2. Lead and/or serve on root cause failure analysis and incident investigation teams.
3. Develop detailed work scopes for engineered projects.
4. Develop maintenance work procedures and preventive maintenance procedures.
5. Demonstrate knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA 70B, and NFPA 70E.
6. Working knowledge of power system analysis and protective relays.
7. Investigate instrument failures and issue recommendations to eliminate further occurrences.
8. Participate in Process Safety Management process.
9. Provide engineering support for SIS implementation projects, TARs, and capital projects.
10. Provide troubleshooting assistance for unusual or persistent I&E problems.
11. Apply site I&E engineering technical procedures and national standards.

Requirements:

1. The I&E Reliability Engineer will have a BSEE and 3+ years of applicable experience.
2. Experience with SKM power tool software is a plus.
3. Ability to troubleshoot motor controls through 4160 volts.
4. Size conduits, cables for motors, MCCs, feeders, etc.
5. Work with outside vendors on coordination, load flow, arc flash, and other studies related to the plant electrical system.
6. Experience with Triconex PLCs is a plus.
7. Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation loops from field to DCS systems.
8. Design and program control and interlock systems.
9. Size and select instruments and control valves.
10. Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
