Chief of Staff – Network Engineering Operations
Our client is a leading residential-focused internet service provider in North America. They specialize in ISP services and wireless network design and implementations, with a primary focus on serving residential customers. Their scalable connectivity networks are designed to meet the high-speed internet demands of households in dense metropolitan areas.
They are seeking a highly skilled and organized Chief of Staff to oversee operations within their Network Engineering department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in network engineering, with hands-on experience in fiber and fixed wireless technologies, combined with proven program management capabilities.
This role is fully remote however preference will be for those residing in New York City.

Focus:
- Provide strategic and operational support to the Network Engineering team, ensuring the seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize engineering workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead and manage technical projects, utilizing project management tools to track progress, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal stakeholders, coordinating communication and managing the resolution of operational issues.
- Monitor the integration of ticketing systems with engineering processes, ensuring efficiency and productivity across the team.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of network engineering concepts and technologies, with hands-on experience in fiber and fixed wireless.
- At least 5 years of program or project management experience, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
- Experience with ticketing systems and their application in engineering operations.
- Prior experience in the telecommunications or internet service industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
