Summary

Responsibilities

  • Participates as a member of and leads engineering teams.
  • Performs analysis of technical requirements of large complexity for multiple efforts.
  • Directs technical work of the team(s).
  • Leads design and outcome reviews.
  • Designs, prepares and executes manual and/or automated test plans and scripts. Reviews and provides guidance to others.
  • Applies in-depth or broad technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across multiple technology areas.
  • Performs complex solution design.
  • Applies appropriate technologies to solutions of highest complexity.
  • Represents team to partners.
  • Demonstrates broad technical and change management leadership.
  • Develops innovative multi-team solutions to complex problems.
  • Provides mentoring and guidance to other engineers.
  • Meet and collaborate with our development teams in India as needed based on project requirements.
  • Leads technical and leadership development learning groups.
  • Explores new partner opportunities and leads POC efforts.
  • May publish, present, or otherwise engage professionally and publicly.
  • Contributes to the strategic direction of team(s) and organization.
  • Ability to initiate work and self-manage time, responsibilities, priorities, etc.
  • Willingness to take initiative and create opportunities when something is missing.

Capabilities

  • Advanced understanding in at least one technology discipline, filling the role of Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Skilled in identifying new tools, processes, and technology solutions.
  • Experience guiding the team(s) in testing practices.
  • Experience working across teams to ensure consistent methodologies and implementing change efforts.
  • Ability to incorporate new tools and design methods to keep discipline area current with technology and proven practices.
  • Proven use of critical thinking skills to solve complex technical problems across disciplines and to design new complex solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presenting complex details to stakeholders and partners.
  • Proficient in proposing projects and developing project plans and milestones.
  • Leads team efforts and may serve as Scrum Master, collaborates with all stakeholders to ensure project is on track and understood.
  • Ownership of at least one technology area, establishing and leading a community of practice in each area.
  • Proficient in software security best practices.
  • Ability to listen and learn.
  • Clear, kind, and candid communication.
  • Leadership in saying what needs to be said to move a conversation, project, and deliverable forward.
  • BS, MS or equivalent education/experience and 7 or more years of relevant work experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
