Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Facilities Engineer to join our team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Norcross, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building functionality, including compressed air, electricity, control panels, exhaust systems, waste/water systems, and connectivity. Additionally, experience with process cooling water, nitrogen, and natural gases is essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain the functionality of building systems, including compressed air, electricity, control panels, exhaust, and waste/water systems.
  • Ensure the connectivity and integration of various building systems to optimize plant operations.
  • Manage and maintain process cooling water systems, nitrogen supply, and natural gas infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to support the design, installation, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on mechanical systems and equipment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including compressed air, electricity, control panels, exhaust, waste/water systems, and connectivity.
  • Experience with process cooling water, nitrogen, and natural gases.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to mechanical systems and building specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
