Job Description
Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer Opening:
- Oversee the entire PPAP process
- Prepare and conduct internal IATF 16949 audits
- Delegate duties to junior engineers and technicians
- Work directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
- Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
- Generate documentation and standards for new products
- Work with supply chain team to provide updates to customers on lead times, recommend alternatives
The Successful Applicant
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer OR 4+ years of PPAP experience
- Strong background with PPAPs
- Background in measuring process using SPC
- Experience assisting with audits
- Work directly with customers to discuss reports and non-conformances
- Lead corrective actions through Root Cause Analysis methods
- Base Salary between $75,000 and $90,000
- Discetrionary bonus based on company performance
