Site Reliability Engineer

hackajob has partnered with a company that provides information technology services, consulting and financial services that is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join the growing team.

Role: Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (hybrid 3 days/week onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to alerts and resolve customer/system issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot application problems.
• Implement preventive maintenance and enhance platform resilience.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery testing and maintain service quality.
• Manage incidents, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive service improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience as an Application Support or Site Reliability Engineer with expertise in ITSM, production support, JSON, Java, JavaScript, Unix Shell Script.
• Proficiency in observability monitoring tools like Splunk, ELF, Dynatrace.
• Familiarity with security, authentication, or cyber security concepts.
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and using automation tools (Ansible, Python, Java).
• 3+ years of experience with system automation and AI operations.
