About the Role

DoorDash is looking for a product-minded Engineering Manager to lead the Consumer Affordability engineering team. This team is responsible for driving category growth by managing pricing of goods across our Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol and Retail businesses.

As an Engineering Manager, you will partner closely with your Product and Business cross-functional partners to define the pricing strategy for New Verticals and drive execution of projects that help achieve our bottom line goals.

• Lead and grow a team of 8+ exceptional backend and client-side engineers delivering end-to-end engineering solutions

• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Design, Analytics, and other stakeholders to determine the team's roadmap and vision, and manage execution against that roadmap

• Partner closely with the recruiting team to oversee the hiring process for your team, to grow a rockstar group of engineers

• 2+ years of experience in people management leading full-stack teams (backend, web, & mobile) of 8+ engineers
• Experience scaling products from both 0 → 1 and 1 → 10 in a fast-paced environment
