My client is seeking a Process Engineer who is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality of non-hazardous chemical products. This role involves conducting process simulations, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and refine manufacturing methods.

Description

The position will report directly into the Operations Manager and be responsible for

  • Achieving proficiency with key manufacturing unit operations through training with operators and engineers.
  • Managing initiatives under the guidance of the Operations Manager.
  • Troubleshooting plant process issues with technicians and operators.
  • Developing process documentation and operator training materials.
  • Helping to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring communication and implementation of management of change procedures.
  • Supporting new product and process commercialization.
  • Measuring product quality, process capability, and yield using statistical process control techniques.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • Engineering degree, chemical engineering a plus
  • 3+ years of process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Fluid flow and heat transfer knowledge
  • P&ID or GMP understanding preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
