Description
We are seeking a Linux System Engineer II to support our team at Leidos. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud initiatives, managing user accounts and infrastructure requirements, maintaining program owned applications, and collaborating with Enterprise Services to ensure security compliance. This individual will also be involved in infrastructure patching, OS baseline hardening, and providing overall support to the program. An active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required for this role.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 4-8 years of professional experience as a Systems Administrator or similar technical role
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and Agile Team Collaboration tools
- Familiarity with Linux best practices and strong infrastructure management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes and other cloud vendors
- Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and cross domain architectures
- Experience with automated testing, monitoring, and Change Management
