Our client, one of the largest Amazon Web Services (AWS) partners for data services, is looking for a Mid to Senior level Java Developer to contribute to their team of technologists to build and contribute to large-scale, innovative projects. Job Responsibilities:
- Assist customer with developing Kibana dashboard to highlight changes to account configs and highlight security anomalies.
- Ensure DevOps practices and tool-sets are followed to support our drive towards continuous delivery across our multi-platform application portfolio.
- Assist customer to build reference architectures to enable customer teams to adopt out-of-region DR.
- Develop tools and products that are used in central automation and contribute to development milestones.
- Continually look for ways to innovate and improve testing processes to gain efficiencies.
- Effectively communicate DevOps activities and project risk in oral and written formats.
- Build solutions and think holistically about engineering challenges and architecture.
- Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals - Algorithm design, Problem solving, Complexity analysis, and data structures.
- Expert experience in design and implementation in terms of Infrastructure Creation/Configuration and CI/CD.
- Evangelize DevOps tools and processes.
- Demonstrable experience in architecting, designing, and developing.
- Good troubleshooting and debugging mindset with DevOps toolsets.
- Awareness and exposure in deploying Deep Learning models and Big Data applications.
Qualifications:
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in the areas/tools listed below.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration with experience in automation/configuration management.
- Experience with Grafana (creating dashboards from multiple data sources, presenting metrics in custom charts).
- Experience with Splunk.
- Strong experience in scripting such as Python and TypeScript.
- Hands-on AWS platform experience; AWS Certification will be a big plus.
- Ability to use a variety of open-source technologies and cloud services (experience with AWS is required), including services like AWS Config, CloudTrail, SCPs, KMS, VPC, and CDK.
- Working knowledge of continuous integration platforms such as Jenkins and various other deployment tools.
- Working knowledge of source code repositories such as Git (BitBucket), Subversion, etc.
