Title: Senior New Product Development Engineer (Big Bore)
Location: Schaumburg, IL area

Hire Type: Direct Hire
Job Duties:
  • Overall design and application engineering, from concept design through full manufacturing launch.
  • Designs performance improvements for big bore engines
  • Develops analytical design validation plans.
  • Ensures design meets system performance and design target
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Address compatibility of material property compared to the structural functionality.
  • Work with component engineers and suppliers for the design of cast housings, plastic molding, seals, gaskets leading to production subsystem
  • Works with the cross-functional teams to meet the project budget, timelines, and scope of design.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years' experience in cradle to grave product development, preferably in engine design
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other technical disciplines
  • 25% travel internationally
