Position Overview
LGES Vertech is looking for a C++ Developer to join the AEROS Development team. The AEROS software is responsible for integrating energy storage assets into a unified energy storage power plant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of experienced developers that will be responsible for the next generation of energy storage solutions.
This position is based out of our Chesterfield, MO office and is part of a small and growing team. The team enjoys ping pong on breaks and other fun perks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar major or equivalent on job training
- Strong practical knowledge of C++ programming language
- Experience/Familiarity with OOP (object-oriented programming)
- Comfortable with development in a Linux Environment
- Experience/Familiarity of TDD (test-driven development)
- Understanding of the formal SDLC (software development lifecycle)
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Database/SQL experience
- Python experience
Location: Saint Louis, MO*
*This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 2 days a week in the office
Travel: 10% travel is required
