Sikich LLP is seeking a seasoned Senior Salesforce Developer to join our Salesforce Implementation Team. In this client-facing role, the ideal candidate enjoys working hands-on with our customers to configure and develop state-of-the-art systems and solutions on Salesforce.

What will you do in this role?

1. Work as a part of an agile development team implementing various Salesforce clouds.
2. Help lead technical discussions with both business and development teams to ensure solutions hold up to best practices.
3. Leverage your in-depth familiarity and knowledge of different Salesforce license models and limitations to configure systems per client requirements.
4. Work with the project team to conceptualize and define system architecture with a focus on scalability and ease of maintenance downstream.
5. Leverage knowledge of Apex, VisualForce, Aura, Flows, and Lightning Web Components to develop use cases on Salesforce.
6. Support and lead the creation of technical documentation in support of systems being developed.
7. Implement development and deployment best practices and methodologies in a client setting.
8. Ensure code quality by peer reviewing code and participating in meetings to continually improve processes both technical and business.
9. Support and architect systems integration between Salesforce and other applications.
10. Implement robust security and access controls within the system.
11. Keep up with new Salesforce features that will be beneficial to business use cases.
12. Work with the quality assurance team to resolve issues in a timely manner and to communicate all issues to the appropriate parties to ensure quality work.

What do you need to succeed in this role?

1. 5+ years in software development in a professional setting.
2. 3+ years working with Salesforce in a technical role.
3. 1+ years experience in a Senior / Lead capacity.
4. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
5. Salesforce certifications such as administrator, platform developer I and II are desirable.
6. Experience in designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.
7. Familiarity with agile/scrum methodology.
8. Demonstrated hands-on ability to create necessary technical documentation including high-level systems design, low-level systems design, system landscape, entity relationship diagrams, configuration workbooks, and other client deliverables for enterprise Salesforce implementations.
9. Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team.
10. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
11. Ability to travel as needed.
