Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically strong Software/Embedded focused Program Manager to join our rapidly growing global team. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting next generation experiences in some of the world’s leading automobiles.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with high caliber, cross functional teams to deliver high quality software projects and programs. They will have the chance to make an impact and shape the development process going forward with key leadership in a highly visible role. They will also have a proven record of delivering new and challenging software features, ideally in an embedded environment. This individual will enjoy collaborating with a diverse team, establishing strong relationships with other leaders, while learning and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and synchronize across software development teams and other internal groups to design, build, test, and release software on time and with high quality.
  2. Drive and lead delivery of enabling technologies and experiences.
  3. Handle interdependencies between teams and identify and manage requirements and architectural convergence as well as software delivery risks.
  4. Build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and senior management.
  5. Manage requirements, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks for each project.
  6. Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills and outstanding written and verbal communication talent.

Skills & Experience:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a related industry.
  2. Excellent leadership, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.
  3. Ability to establish and maintain key partnership engagements.
  4. Experience in managing firmware suppliers and third-party development partners.
  5. Prior software development and test experience with embedded applications, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python is a plus.
  6. Familiar with Agile methodologies and the challenges of hybrid agile/waterfall approaches.
  7. Automotive and ASPICE experience is a plus.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required. Master’s degree is preferred.
