YOUR ROLE

1. Leads Application Engineering activities within the region/locality to execute AE support within the assigned market.
2. Lead the SBU through on-site customer-facing technical activities, including supporting customer/market applications and engineering projects for existing and new business within the defined territory.
3. Being accountable for all AE segments and Technical Center within the territory.
4. Drives the success of local SBU ACE projects technically, implement customer roadmaps and conduct plant audits/line surveys to increase ACE Growth impact pipeline.
5. Responsible for the launch of new products, customized product applications, new product demonstrations, and troubleshooting for customers.
6. Support Sales team in building value propositions.
7. Work with application equipment to provide solutions to enhance customer adhesive-related processes.
8. Manage equipment-related projects from concept to completion.
9. Validation of products at the laboratory, simulating line conditions to ensure right first-time product launch.
10. Responsible for Application Engineering laboratory setup, equipment procurement, application standardization, implementing regional/local best practices to meet customer and market needs/expectations.
11. Provide inputs to PD regarding application/processing equipment and collaborate on new product development and testing.
12. Work closely with Sales, PD, product management, Quality, and other departments to ensure successful application deployment and user satisfaction.
13. Facilitate communication and collaboration between teams.
14. Ensure compliance with all Henkel and regulatory requirements (safety, legal, environment), and relevant industry/customer specifications.
15. Responsible for product application/technical training and coaching of field sales forces and customers.
16. Promote internally SBU innovations and best learnings across accounts.

YOUR SKILLS

• Minimum 8 years of work experience.
• Should be an Engineering graduate (Paint Technology preferred).
• Experience with PLC programming and automation preferred.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Project and cross-functional management experience.
