Title - Automation QA Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA (hybrid)
Duration: 4 Months
Pay rate: $70.42 per hour on W2

Responsibilities:

1. Transform requirements into architectural and feature specs.
2. Contribute with valuable ideas to the service architecture for automation suites.
3. Design and implement features.
4. Test required APIs.
5. Test suites or technology according to specifications.
6. Create Unit Tests.
7. Collaborate with software developers to ensure project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
8. Apply customer centric thinking while designing and developing features.
9. Experience working with databases.

Requirements:

1. Strong and hands-on knowledge of JavaScript (NodeJS and ReactJS Preferred) and API Automation.
2. RESTful and SOAP services mandatory.
3. Experience working with Web Services or other server-based APIs.
4. Knowledge of unit testing and build processes.
5. Knowledge of CI tools like Jenkins and version control tools like GIT desirable.
6. B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
7. Good written and verbal communication skills; spoken and written English proficiency.
