We are currently seeking CNC Turning Operator for our second shift. Our people make all the difference in our success. As a CNC Turning Set Up Production Operator at Regal Rexnord Cleveland your focus will be to: * Set up to operate CNC Lathe machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines. * Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. * Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts and shop orders to plan and check work. * Obtain proper set of tools from tool crib, select holders, mount, secure, and check tools for accuracy. * Interpret drawings, route sheets, diagrams, specifications, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences. * Make necessary calculations for tool depth and tool compensation adjustments. * Move completed material to the next workstation. * Maintain clean and safe work environment. Education and Experience Requirements * One year certificate from college or technical school preferred. * 6 months - 1-year related experience or training. * Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions. * Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. * Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers, and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds. * Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
