The Role and What You’ll Do:

As a Sr. Designer, you are adept in translating a conceptual vision into a physical design solution that’s innovative, dynamic, and memorable by flexing your cross-channel design prowess in experiential, traditional, and digital media. You strive to deliver award-winning design solutions that position our agency and brands we work for as the gold standard in our highly competitive industry. You pride yourself as being the consummate collaborator and a proven leader who’s willing to work closely with your work team to deliver brand accurate, pixel-perfect outputs in a very face-paced, high-energy work environment.

This position requires someone who is not only passionate about every aspect of design but also stays up to date on the latest design trends, technology, and programs from the newest Adobe tools to the most cutting-edge AI offerings. You obsess over design fundamentals and are constantly challenging yourself and the team to push the boundaries of design. You are a design athlete and have experience creating campaigns across a variety of platforms including experiential, branding, identity design, print, digital, social, OOH, and more (motion design a plus).

We’re looking for someone who thrives in diverse team settings and is experienced in communicating effectively with art directors, project managers, print production, account leads, and event production. You lead by example with impeccable craft, unwavering time management, and unmatched attention to detail. You are cool under pressure and take pride in directing and coaching young designers to deliver top-notch creative with tight turns.   • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Ensure consistency and efficacy of design throughout all creative
  • Play a hands-on role in the design of outstanding creative, working collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary team and environment (Art Directors, Creative Directors, Assoc. Design Directors, etc.)
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to build client presentations
  • Collaborate closely with Design and Creative team by reviewing work to ensure expectations are being met and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Expert level of understanding of fundamental disciplines and design principles such as color, composition, typography, and attention to detail
  • Drive awareness of industry and visual design trends (fashion, tech) and industry competitors, sharing with peers and the broader community and leveraging them within the design lifecycle
  • Receptive to creative feedback and adaptability in creative/design development process
  • Excellent interpersonal communications (written and verbal) and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and presentation skills
  • Maintain existing designs with the ability to self-manage multiple projects and tight timelines but also remain extremely detail-oriented
  • Work closely with our media teams to test creative, and be able to apply learnings to refine and deliver new creative and evolving best practices
  • Work on and possibly lead multiple projects with constantly changing deadlines and often at a high rate of speed
  • Monitor high standards and work collaboratively on new methods and procedures as needed
  • Ensure and develop best practice principles in conjunction with the wider team
  • Consistently communicate with project owners regarding project status and challenges
  • Provide technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality
  • Adaptable and ability to learn quickly
  • Offer input and share ideas at creative meetings
  • Manage creative request workflow by prioritizing projects

You Have These:

  • 5+ years of Design experience within a branding shop, design firm, ad agency, or similar setting
  • Degree in graphic design, marketing/communication design, or a similar field
  • Digital design portfolio of drool-worthy creative
  • Expert level of proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Slides
  • Knowledge of motion and CGI a plus
  • Self-driven, eager to learn, and goal-oriented
  • Superior sense of type, layout, and image composition
  • Expert knowledge of design trends and best practices
  • Multi-disciplinary craft and cross-platform abilities including design, photography, film, animation, and mixed media communication and storytelling
  • High level of accountability, motivation, and strong time/project management skills
  • Compassion, empathy, and investment in your team, the organization, and the work
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some nights/weekends
  • Must be able to work quickly but also remain extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to integrate feedback with a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and proactively guide junior design talent in a fast-paced environment while being calm under pressure
  • Team player with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • A desire to understand the advertising industry at large; an ability and a desire to adapt to the changing landscape of technology
  • Strong work ethic, adaptable to ever-changing hours and demands, with the ability to re-focus and develop options for quick changes in projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and archiving skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills- able to navigate and collaborate effectively with teams
