Position Overview:
The Data Entry Manager is responsible for overseeing the data entry operations within the corporate billing department of our long-term care pharmacy. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of high-volume pharmacy billing entries and compliance with all insurance claims requirements. The manager will lead a team, streamline processes, and ensure that all data is entered and managed correctly to avoid any discrepancies or rejections.
This is a full-time, in-person role, with the possibility of a hybrid work model later on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead the data entry team, ensuring high-quality performance and productivity.
- Oversee and streamline all data entry processes related to pharmacy billing and insurance claims.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with insurance policies to minimize rejections and delays.
- Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve any data entry or billing discrepancies.
- Train, mentor, and support staff in data entry processes and system updates.
- Analyze data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain communication with the VP of Operations and COO on departmental performance and operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in pharmacy data entry management and insurance claims processing.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Experience with long-term care pharmacy billing is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and claims processing software.
Compensation:
$70,000-$80,000 per year
