Responsibilities:
- Work as a part of a team designing and implementing new embedded technologies, processes, and tools, and PC-based technologies and products, from concept, design, and integration through production.
- Develop Linux application code for embedded devices and systems. AI/Analytics software development.
- Design, develop, code, test, and debug software.
- Analyze, monitor, and improve efficiency and stability of the system.
- Interface with hardware design and development.
- Support software QA and provide postproduction support of released products.
- Contribute to development and deployment of new technologies and tools.
- Support verification and validation test methodologies for product release, and design for test in a factory production setting.
- Provide pre-sale technical support to the sales team.
- Perform project and product management tasks for multiple different product lines.
- Position permits telecommuting from home within the U.S.
Required Education:
- Master of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
Additional Minimum Requirements:
- Academic coursework, internship, or work experience to include at least one academic semester, or quarter, or 6 months of training or experience in the following:
- Embedded systems design;
- Computer vision, Image processing, audio processing;
- Software development methodologies;
- Knowledge on Machine learning and deep learning concepts and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn.
- 40 hours/week. Job site/interview: Carlsbad, CA.
- Salary $121,597/year. EOE.
