The ELN Product Team – DevOps Engineer will work on the overall development, validation, integration, modification, operation, and maintenance of the ELN. A key responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and maintain integrations between various applications and the ELN, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient communication.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

As an ELN Product Team - DevOps Engineer specializing in Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs) support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of ELN systems within the organization's scientific research environment.

  1. Work closely with scientific teams to enhance ELN configurations, promoting collaboration and data sharing.
  2. Set up monitoring tools for proactive issue resolution, minimizing disruptions in research workflows.
  3. Implement ELN-specific security practices to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance.
  4. Collaborate with researchers to understand ELN requirements and optimize integrations with lab tools.
  5. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ELN configurations and integrations.
  6. Pragmatic, hands-on mentality.
  7. Understanding knowledge gaps and have an openness to raise them.
  8. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  9. Experience with process tools like GIT, JIRA, Confluence, and CI/CD tools.
  10. Experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Infrastructure as code, monitoring/observability concepts, and related tools.
  11. Experience in building applications incorporating cloud (AWS), APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
  12. Experience of delivering and supporting software in a DevOps environment.
  13. Exposure to analytics tools like Power BI (Business Intelligence).
  14. Excellent problem-solving and adaptability.
  15. Willing to work in a cross-cultural environment across multiple time zones.
  16. Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve objectives.
  17. Eager to learn and develop new tech skills, as required.
  18. Good written and verbal skills, fluent English.
  19. Advanced experience with ELN platforms and their technical integration into biopharmaceutical laboratory workflows.
  20. Expertise in handling scientific data formats, laboratory instrument integrations, and industry-specific technical compliance standards.
  21. Familiarity with advanced GxP regulations and practices.
