Mechanical Process Engineer

Overview:

Seeking an experienced Process Engineer with expertise in AWS welding standards for aerospace/defense industries to lead process improvements, optimize production, and develop clear work instructions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement process improvements using Toyota Production System principles.
• Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1, D17.1 welding standards.
• Optimize sheet metal and turret press operations
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions.
• Lead continuous improvement and root cause analysis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Experience with AWS weld standards, aerospace/defense sectors.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication.
