Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop and maintain secure, scalable and fault-tolerant backend services and frontend applications that power both our external and internal systems.
2. Designing and developing secure APIs.
3. Developing back-end functions to support website applications.
4. Research and integrate new technologies and products.
5. Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
6. Promote secure, scalable and high-quality coding practices.

You Will Also Be Responsible For

1. Collaborating with the team to ensure features align with organizational goals and customer needs.
2. Designing user interactions on web pages.
3. Working alongside graphic designers for web design features.
4. Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
5. Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
6. Follow all best practices and procedures as established by the company.

Qualifications

1. 2+ years of proven professional experience building Application using Elixir and Phoenix Framework.
2. Experience working with and/or building APIs.
3. Proficiency in front-end technologies like Javascript, CSS, HTML5, etc is a plus.
4. Basic design ability: Including knowledge of UI/UX practices and basic prototype design.
5. Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to collaborate with the team to design and build high quality code, while demonstrating a high degree of autonomy and ownership.
6. Ability to manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment.
7. Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship from an employer now or in the future.
