We are looking for a Digital PreDistortion Engineer to join our team.


You will be a member of the Digital PreDistortion (DPD) team. The team works with Linearization Algorithm teams, Radio SW (RFSW), and SoC teams to implement and test related functionality integrated together.


As part of the team, you will:

  • Work with hardware teams developing new radios and PA's, RFSW containing commercial DPD software, Systems on Chip (SoC) teams.
  • Develop the optimal settings for best emissions performance.
  • Have opportunities to develop new tools, as well as functionality improvement for related RFSW (DPD focused).
  • Experience specific assignments that will change over the lifetime of multiple projects.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of associated DFE ASICs (multiple generations).
  • Travel: up to 10%, domestic and international.

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering / SW Engineering or similar. Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in the following coding languages: Java, C/C++, Python, Matlab executables.
  • Knowledge of signal processing concepts in Digital PreDistortion and/or Gain Control.
  • Troubleshooting of HW/SW interactions, as well as debugging code in real-time environments.
  • Adept in the development of RF performance specifications and test methodology.

It would be nice if you also have:

  • Previous industrial experience.
  • Proficiency in Digital Signal Processing techniques.
  • Experience with high power RF PA linearization.
  • Real-time SW environment experience.
  • Proven track record - previous involvement in successful product development programs.
