Job Description: Process Engineering Vacancies – JAPAN

Looking for 2 Process Engineers to start immediately and 6 Process Engineers to start in January in Japan on extendable 3 month contracts working on a Chemical Plant project.

Experience in Chemical plants, especially SYNGAS, is desired, with at least 3 years of Process Engineering experience and upwards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work as a member of a technical team to provide process engineering support for design and operations.
2. Participate in PreFEED/Feasibility Study, FEED, EPC, and SAT studies.
3. Perform process modelling using:
   1. AVEVA PRO/II Simulation
   2. Heat Exchanger calculation: HTRI Xchanger Suite ver. 9.1
   3. Steam Balance simulation: Petro-SIM ver. 7.3
4. Perform equipment sizing calculations (Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Storage Tanks, etc.).
5. Perform design and operations engineering calculations using in-house technical computing tools and design tools for hydraulic calculation, PSV.
6. Prepare:
   1. Process Data Sheet
   2. Process Flow Diagram
   3. Utility Flow Diagram
   4. Block Flow Diagram
   5. Design Flow Plan
   6. Marked-up P&ID
   7. Heat & Material Balance
   8. Cause and effect chart
