Platform Engineer

DCI Job Requirement for:

Platform Engineer

Location: McLean, VA

Job Description:

Serve as a DevOps Engineer.

Instrument code to report relevant metrics.

Provide platform engineering.

Build safe and efficient build processes.

Review networks and understand network flows.

Build out datacenter architectures.

Successful candidate will be expected to:

1. Independently identify things you do not know.
2. Teach yourself and come back with answers.

Have an understanding of:

1. Out of band management networks.
2. Management interfaces.
3. Patch cycles.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of DevOps experience.
2. Experience with Ansible or other automation language, Git, Python.
3. Programming proficiency.
4. Experience with Kubernetes or derivatives.
5. Experience building out datacenter architectures.
6. Some development background/experience.
7. Strong understanding of networking.
8. Experience with RHEL.

Preferred Experience:

1. Background/familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI).
2. Familiarity/experience with Dell PowerScale.
3. Experience with Keycloak.
4. Experience with OpenShift.
5. Experience with Active Directory.
6. Experience with Container repositories, ideally hands-on with Quay.
7. Experience building PKI infrastructure.
8. Experience with software-defined networking.
9. Experience implementing NIST/STIGs.
10. Experience with MinIO.
11. Experience with Ceph (or other software-defined storage).

Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $180,000-$250,000

1. 8 hour shift
2. Monday to Friday

2. Containers: 3 years (Preferred)
3. Kubernetes: 3 years (Preferred)
4. Ansible and Terraform: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

CI Polygraph Clearance (Required)

Top Secret (Required)
