Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop control systems for automation, including PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to define system requirements and specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimates for control system projects.
• Program and configure control hardware and software to meet project specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose control system issues, providing timely solutions.
• Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Document system designs, programming, and modifications for future reference.
• Provide technical support and training to operations staff on control systems.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in control technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of control theory and experience with PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Familiarity with HMI/SCADA systems and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet/IP).
• Proficiency in CAD software for control system design and layout.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members.
