About The Team
The Engage team builds the experiences that keep Reverb’s users coming back day-after-day. We are a collaborative, inclusive team of designers, backend, and native mobile engineers with all the skills necessary to build & ship. We are passionate about improving Search, Discovery, and giving users more reasons to use Reverb.
About The Role
As a Senior iOS engineer, you will be responsible for pushing our codebase forward, shipping quickly and safely, and helping us on our most impactful projects. You’ll be working on both building great features for our users and the underlying platform.
Our app is 90% Swift and we are investing heavily in SwiftUI. We ship weekly and invest in testing & automation to enable that. To build with confidence, we extensively use remote configuration, feature flags, and declarative, server-driven APIs. This is a full-time, hybrid position located in Chicago, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Buyer Experience.
About You
At Reverb, you'll be more than an engineer; you'll be a product owner who works with partners to identify the right tradeoffs and build what our user’s need.
We ask that candidates express curiosity about Reverb's mission, prepare to work on a collaborative team, and adopt a growth mentality. We also ask that you have at least 3 to 4 years of iOS experience, outside of learning environments, working on apps with networking.
Additional Information
Remote-eligible roles (as indicated in the location header of each job description) are available in all U.S. states except Alaska and Hawaii. Remote roles are currently only available within the U.S. unless otherwise specified in the specific job description.
