We need a Senior Director of Software Engineering to lead and scale our global engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions while driving operational excellence and fostering leadership development across the organization. This role will primarily focus on Pattern’s Predict product, a key component of our PXM platform designed to accelerate our brands’ ecommerce performance.

This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Lehi, Utah.

What will I need to thrive in this role?

  1. 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale projects.
  2. At least 5-7 years of leadership experience, managing diverse engineering teams, with demonstrated success in building and growing high-performing teams.
  3. Experience managing large teams of 20+ engineers, with a strong emphasis on scaling teams, ensuring quality, and driving operational efficiency.
  4. Proven ability to manage and collaborate with global teams, including oversight of offshore development teams, ensuring alignment across time zones and geographies.
  5. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies, architecture, software development lifecycle, and maintaining quality in applications.
  6. Exceptional leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  7. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning engineering goals with broader business objectives.
