We are looking for a Senior ServiceNow Developer who will report into the Head of Site Reliability Engineering (Data and Analytics Solutions) and will join our Technology Services Group (TSG) - Site Reliability Engineering team. You will have the skills and experience to work closely with several teams across a vast array of business and technical verticals.  We are looking for a well-rounded professional with a passion for emerging technologies.

This role is located in either our Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL office. This is a hybrid role which requires 3 days per week in office.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Provide leadership and input to shape the roadmap for the tool and platform in an effort to make the tool better and more integrated with internal workflows.
  • Provide support for multiple teams looking to embed their workflows into ServiceNow.
  • Apply agile methodologies to project-based work.
  • Build new functionality and configuration across the entire ServiceNow instance.
  • Designs the organization's technology architecture and implements hardware and software infrastructure.
  • Participates in developing and monitoring the organization's technology architecture and future technology vision.
  • Monitors the organization's technology architecture to analyze potential needs or recommend improvements.
  • Reaches out to LOB leaders to understand the organization's technology architecture performance and future technology needs.
  • Attends technology conferences and works with vendors to understand the feasibility of future plans.
  • Researches infrastructure architecture needs and supports the creation of executive summaries.
  • Contributes to the achievement of multiple teams' objectives
  • Experience administering the ServiceNow platform, monitoring performance, deploying applications, building out catalog items/workflows, and configuring integrations

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred 8-10 years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Experience administering the ServiceNow platform, monitoring performance, deploying applications, building out catalog items/workflows, and configuring integrations
  • Experience writing and debugging JavaScript
  • Experience with REST API development
  • ServiceNow Developer Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge how configuration management factors into the ITIL framework
  • Previous working experience with ServiceNow CMDB
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts
  • Experience with ServiceNow Discovery
  • Experience with IT Asset Management a plus
  • Experience writing and debugging Perl or C# or Java a plus
