My client is a well-funded early-stage technology company that is building systems and infrastructure that can optimize and scale at massive levels. They are positioned in a high-growth marketplace and are in growth mode. There is a current need for someone to take ownership of the platform UI and UX design. The Lead UI/UX Designer role will work in their Manhattan office.
Qualified candidates will have about 4+ years of professional industry experience leading the UI/UX design for a software platform (B2B, B2C, mobile, etc.) and will have a portfolio that includes professional and personal projects that demonstrate creative control. Experience creating data visualization from complex data is ideal. Bachelors or Advanced Degrees in Human Computer Interaction are preferred but not required.
The Lead UI/UX Designer will be responsible for establishing the UI/UX designing principles, creating wireframes, workflows, prototypes, leading usability testing, working with Product Management and Engineering throughout the entire SDLC, implementing standards, etc.
