Job Description:
As an Android Engineer, you will spend your days translating requirements into solutions, writing code, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights necessary to think beyond the status quo. You will oversee small project teams consisting of other engineers who will look to you as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert.

What you'll do:

1. Assist in providing guidance to small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, for assigned Engineering projects.
2. Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues.
3. Manage small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
4. Troubleshoot business and production issues by gathering information and performing root cause analysis.
5. Participate in the discovery phase of projects to come up with high-level designs.
6. Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in the development, execution, and improvement of action plans.
7. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with key stakeholders.

What you'll bring:
Extensive understanding of Android framework components, expert-level knowledge of Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Gradle, and experience with Reactive framework, offline storage, and dependency injection. Experience in developing content-rich applications, good app architecture using design patterns, and a disciplined approach to development.
