Job Description
What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements.
- Providing specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
- Designing, implementing, and integrating software applications or performing software engineering tasks.
- Utilizing software engineering and design methodologies appropriate to the development, integration, and production environment.
- Ensuring efficient delivery of software engineering capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes.
- Mitigating risks, controlling costs and schedule variance, and effectively managing large-scale, integrated software projects.
- Reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results.
- Participating in DevSecOps processes and practicing principles during all design phases.
- Participating in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
- Analyzing current in-use technology utilized and developing steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
Required Skills
Must Have:
- MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
- Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2 (Sec+).
- Experience working on a development team under DoD/DIA DevSecOps process.
- Experience with Angular JS and/or NODE.
Desired Skills
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science and four years of comparable work experience.
- Ten or more years of program/application operations experience.
- Experience in the Intelligence Community.
- Python coding experience.
