Civil Engineer

The QTI Group has been retained by a Madison-based Civil Engineering firm to hire their next Civil Engineer . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing and overseeing construction and development projects with adhering to safety regulations and environmental standards.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling, coordination and management of engineering projects
• Manage technicians and/or crews, leading timeline development and developing plans/maps
• Prepare bid tabulations using Excel and develop project budgets/timelines
• Attend meetings with clients, local municipalities and construction agencies
• Construction staking and observation as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required
• Wisconsin Engineering License or License within 6 months of date of hire preferred
• Experience in engineering design programs (AutoCAD, Civil 3D software)
• Prior experience in managing civil engineering projects
