CNC Machinist

We are looking to add a CNC Machinist in Manchester, CT for a family owned company! This is a temp-to-hire role!
Shift: 7:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $25-$35/hr (Depending on experience)
CNC Machine Operator Responsibilities:

• Set-up and manage CNC machines to perform different jobs including drilling, grinding and milling.
• Translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for production.
• Oversee the machines while they execute the tasks and make the necessary changes to produce improved results.
• Check machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionality.

• At least 3 years of setup experience.
• Ability to read, understand and modify programs
• Preferably Okuma controls experience.
• Experience with manual machines would be a plus.
