Job Title:

Senior Tech Lead (Python/TypeScript) for Delta Revenue Integrity Project

Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Tech Lead to join our team for the Delta Revenue Integrity Project, an in-house application designed to process passenger bookings efficiently. This role requires strong leadership skills and expertise in application deployment, particularly in Python and TypeScript on AWS.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop robust and modular designs for data streaming, cloud transformation, and API product development.
2. Create data APIs and delivery services supporting operational and analytical applications for internal operations, customers, and partners.
3. Support and maintain data-centric products across various platforms and technologies.
4. Analyze technical information to produce high-quality software solutions.
5. Collaborate effectively with teammates and offer innovative solutions to challenges.
6. Adhere to automated testing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.
7. Maintain expertise in the products developed and document solutions comprehensively.
8. Ensure coding standards are met and address technical issues proactively, communicating impact and prioritization effectively.
9. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
2. Experience with multiple disparate systems and cloud technologies (preferably AWS).
3. Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting (Bash and PowerShell), and SQL.
4. Familiarity with streaming data and data extraction from various databases.
5. Experience deploying and managing infrastructures using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
6. Familiarity with scalable data extraction tools and streaming technologies like Kafka.
7. Understanding of data engineering principles, real-time streaming, eventing, and JSON parsing.
8. Proficiency in automating application deployment, CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible).
9. Experience building microservices and API architectures.
10. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
11. Flexibility, passion for learning, and ability to collaborate effectively.
12. Embrace diversity in perspectives and working styles.
13. Prioritize safety and security, both personally and for the team.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience in the airline industry is advantageous.

Additional Information:

Duration: 12 months

Location: Atlanta, GA (1030 Delta Blvd) or Minneapolis, MN (8400 Normandale Lake Blvd)

Not fully remote; onsite presence required 2-3 days per week on alternate basis.

Interview Process: 2-3 rounds, final round onsite.

Immediate Hybrid requirement. Relocation assistance not provided. H1B eligible candidates accepted.

8 - 10 years + - senior person, will act as a Tech Lead.
