Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Possesses a solid understanding of ASME/ ANSI drawing standards.
Minimum experience of five (5) years with SolidWorks or similar 3D design software.
Minimum experience of three (3) years with AutoCAD or similar 2D design software.
Knowledge of EPDM or configuration management.
Ability to work with large multilevel 3D assemblies.
Experience with SolidWorks EPDM required.
Has a strong mechanical and conceptual aptitude.
Knowledge of AWS standards symbols and placement.
Takes direction from management.
Ability to work independently or in a team atmosphere.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent plus six (6) years related work experience in CAD design and drafting, or;
Associates Degree in CAD or drafting studies, plus four (4) years' related work experience in CAD design and drafting.
Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD (electrical and mechanical drafting).
Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks (mechanical design and drafting).
