Job Description

The net.AMERICA Corporation is seeking a Senior Computer Programmer who will configure Contact Information Center (CIC) system handlers and provide CTI Integration. They will configure the environment for the telephony system platform and prepare for success in configuration of the customization to the platform.

Qualifications

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Hands-on experience navigating and customizing the telephony platform software on the server.
2. Experience utilizing a unified, customer-based implementation and computer telephony integration.
3. Creation and design of telephony call flows; creation and design of program logic flows.
4. Knowledge and skills necessary to perform CIC handler troubleshooting and customization, including:
1. Describe the handler-oriented subsystems and how they work.
2. Research, plan, design, build, publish, test and activate an existing or new handler.
3. Use Interaction Designer to manipulate handlers.
4. Create variables, values and attributes within objects or tools in handlers.
5. Use the Expression Editor to set parameters in tools.
6. Select tools and subroutine form in Interaction Designer pallets. Define and describe the use of attributes, events, objects, tools, steps, subroutines, values, variables and properties that make up a handler.
7. Pass variables between handlers. Describe how handlers interact within each other, as well as with Interaction Client.
8. Describe the basics of flow control and other related concepts, such as how the CIC handles outbound activity.
9. Effectively use Interaction Designer’s online help. Install Remedy CTI, CRM Siebel integration, email and ACD/IVR.

Experience and Education Required:

1. 3+ years of extensive and demonstrated experience with I3 platform.
2. Knowledge of Windows OS interface(s) and familiarity with its terminology.
3. Current working knowledge of a 4th generation programming language or event-driven language (e.g. Visual Basic, C, C++, Basic, or another procedural language) and have built an application using tools associated with that language.
4. Responsible for handler development in a CIC project.
5. Created or designed telephony call flows; created or designed program logic flows.
6. Performed debugging or troubleshooting of program code.
7. Able to set up ODBC functionality within Windows Operating Systems.
