Project Description:
DRT supports the CDC with improving their service delivery and customer experience with internal and external users. As part of our decades of support, we provide SharePoint expertise to develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint repositories, sites, forms, and workflows. We use tools such as SharePoint Online, Power BI, Power Platform, and Dataverse.
Job Summary:
The SharePoint Online (SP) Developer will work with the IT Project Manager and the Business Analyst to analyze and implement enhancement requests for the existing SharePoint sites and MS Power Platform applications. This also includes designing/developing/deploying new sites and Power Platform applications. Furthermore, the Developer will troubleshoot and resolve help desk tickets.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current SharePoint/SharePoint Online (SPO) Sites and Power Platform applications and recommend enhancements for additional automation and user experience (e.g., redesigning SPO site for ease of use, re-architecting the Power Platform applications to improve performance and integrate for data exchange).
- Leverage new Microsoft 365 features and out-of-box functionality while adhering to the User Experience (UX) design best practices and design guidelines to design, develop, and deploy new SPO Sites and Power Platform applications.
- Recommend new tools and technologies for integration with Power Platform applications to support complex business and regulatory processes.
- Support the requirements elicitation and design/prototype sessions as directed.
- Address and resolve user inquiries/issues logged through Help Desk.
- Work with CDC staff to communicate upcoming releases and environment upgrades through appropriate channels.
- Assist with System/Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as directed by IT Project Manager.
- Work with the IT Project Manager to provide status reports (risks/issues, deliverables, and completed and anticipated activities).
- Support other activities as directed by IT Project Manager.
- 5+ years of experience in developing SharePoint Online Sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications.
- Familiarity with .HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, XML, and Web Services.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI) and SharePoint Online architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with integrating SharePoint Online sites and Microsoft Power Platform applications with third party applications.
- Able to translate software requirements specifications into a technical solution for implementation.
- Demonstrated experience working on Agile projects using Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Demonstrated experience with Software Development Lifecycle and Project Management best practices.
- Requires excellent verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to multitask efficiently and effectively.
- Able to work independently and with teams.
- Must have or be able to obtain a Public Trust.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience working with CDC or for Federal Agencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
- PL-100 certification
- PL-200 certification

- $66,500 - $88,500
